3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
2 cups Milk full fat
2 tsp Vanilla extract
a pinch Salt

This is an eggless recipe for vanilla ice cream!Simple and easy!Top it with my caramel sauce and walnuts and you're in heaven!

This is the basic recipe for vanilla ice cream without using eggs!

In a small sauce pan add the heavy cream, milk,sugar and salt.Let it simmer for a few minutes.

When it starts to bubble around the edges that means it's ready! You will notice that it becomes slightly thicker.Another way to test it is by using a wooden spoon.Put the spoon into the mixture and with your finger make a line in the middle.If the two sides remain separately that means it is thick enough.

Remove the sauce pan from heat and add the vanilla extract.Whisk it and let it cool completely.

Transfer it to a jar or a bowl and cover it with cling film and put it into the refrigerator for 5-6 hours or during night.

Pour the mixture in the ice cream machine for 25 minutes or so depending your ice cream machine and it's ready.
If you want it soft you can serve it immediately or put it in the freezer for a few hours and then is ready to serve it.Top it with caramel sauce and chopped walnuts!
