2 packages Petit Beur or any other square biscuit
250gr Butter or margarine
1 cup Icing sugar powder sugar
2 Eggs the yolks separated from the whites
1tsp Vanilla extract or use 2 vanilla powder sticks
1-2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 shot Brandy optional

This is a mosaic dessert which is actually a chocolate biscuit cake! This is my grandma’s recipe and she passed it to my mom and she passed it to me!

In a bow smash the biscuits into small pieces.

In another bowl beat the egg whites into meringue using your hand mixer.

In a small sauce pan melt the butter and add the egg yolks so that they are cooked, add the sugar and the cocoa powder.Mix it and add the vanilla.

In the sauce pan add the meringue and using slow circular motions incorporated it into the cocoa mixture.

Pour the cocoa mixture on top of the biscuits and mix them all together.

In a cake pan,I use an rectangular cake pan, cover the bottom and sides with film.Place the biscuit mixture in and cover it with the film.
Put it into the freezer for one hour and then in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
